Matthew charges £13.50 per half hour lesson. He teaches from two bases; one in Cyncoed and one in Pontprennau. His youngest pupils are aged 7, but he also teaches adult piano lessons.
What do I need to bring to my first piano lesson?
The first piano lesson will be an opportunity for Matthew to introduce himself and begin working on the basics with you. You do not need to sign up to formal lessons there and then – you can go away and have a think if you would like to have piano lessons on a permanent basis at a regular time slot. Most of Matthew’s piano students have a half hour lesson, but those studying higher grades, or adult learners often opt for having the full hour.

Matthew graduated in music from Cardiff University in 2009 and then went on to achieve a Post Graduate Diploma. He has been teaching and performing at the piano ever since.
